Stanhopea saccata Bateman


This species occurs from Mexico to Costa Rica. It is from a distinct group closely related to Stanhopea radiosa. Up to 5-6 flowers are produced per stem, each bloom reach 6cm in diameter. It is a very easy grower in the bush house or as a landscape plant attached to living trees etc.
