Restrepia nittiorhyncha

Restrepia nittiorhyncha (Lindl.) Garay

Small yellow cup shaped flowers, striped orange distinguish this species immediately. It would be very difficult to confuse this little orchid species with anything else.

The individual blooms reach about 12mm long, and the margin of the petals have large, single, unicate process. It is not a large growing plant only reaching about 7-12cm tall, but it is an easy grower and flowers regularly.
