Pleurothallis phalagifera (Presl.) Rchb.f.


Here we have one of the most spectaular species of the entire genus. Its large showy blooms are either dark red or a pale yellow. Up to 10-14 blooms are produced in succession usually about 3-5 opening at a time, on erect to semi erect racemes. Each individual flower may reach up to 5cm long.
