Masdevallia wurdackii

Masdevallia wurdackii C. Scwfth.

The large unusual blooms of this species are indeed interesting and showy. The flowers are produced on semi erect stems and are reasonably long lasting. This species comes from Peru at around about 1700-2200m in elevation.
