Masdevallia tovarensis

Masdevallia tovarensis Rchb.f.

The pure white blooms of this species are produced on an erect inflorescence that remains active for about 2 years. The largish blooms are produced sporadically about twice a year. Between 2-7 flowers can be found on each stem. A well grown plant will have many flower stems.

It is a very easy grower, and is more heat tolerant than many other members of this genus. However, it is best suited to cool to intermediate temperatures and micro-climates as a landscape plant or bush house subject.
