Masdevallia angulata Rchb.f.

This species is from the subgenus Masdevallia, section Coriaceae, sub-section coriaceae. The very colourful, semi pendulous blooms of this taxa are produced low down from the base of the leaves in late winter early spring. It is a very easy grower in cool to intermediate temperate climates.
