Dryadella simula

Dryadella simula (Rchb.f.) Luer

A fairly common species, found through out the Andean belt. The small blooms are green to yellow, heavily spotted maroon, with tailless sepals. There is quite a bit of confusion with this species and other Dryadella species from Central America.
