Oncidium concolor Hooker

Although this plant only produces a short flower stem with only a dozen blooms or so, the blooms themselves are quite interesting and rather spectacular. This species is a definite cool grower, originating from the mountains of southern Brazil. Even though O. concolor is very easy to grow once established in your collection, it is a rather slow grower and resents disturbance (i.e. breaking up the plant) when clumps are too small
