Zygopetalum intermedium Lodd.

This Brazilian species is one of the easiest of all orchids to grow as a landscape subject or as a pot plant. Its ever green broad leaves make it perfect for a leafy or rain forest setting in temperate to sub tropical climates. The erect stems can be produced twice a year and the colourful blooms are highly perfumed.
