Cattleya trianae Linden ex Rchb.f.

C. trianae unfortunately is now an endangered plant. It hails from Colombia where it once grew in abundance in many areas, but has been subject to gross over collection. It is a very easy grower in temperate climates, producing quite large colourful blooms on a short erect stem.
