Gongora similis Rchb.f.

Here we have the sister species, I believe the superior of the two, of G. Gratulabunda. It is a very vigorous plant, constantly growing and in flower nearly all year round. Each pseudobulb has the potential to produce as many as six inflorescences in succession, which takes quite some months to complete. In the mean time it still continues to put on new growths, a quite remarkable Gongora.
