Gongora charontis Rchb.f.
Colombia is the home of this quite uncommon species. It is a member of the section Truncata. Not a lot is known about this orchid except that Reichenbach named it and he had obviously seen at least 2 different clones during his time judging by the type sheet in Vienna. It's home is Colombia without doubt, but exactly where in Colombia has not been officially recorded as far as I know.
