The Bulbophyllum Gallery
This is one of the largest genera of the Orchidaceae with some 1000 species or more found through out most parts of the globe. The bulk of the species occur in Asia and the South Pacific. The highest concentration to be found in Papua New Guinea with over 600 species known to be native there and many more still to be named (see coming editions of Oasis). Many Bulbophyllum species are easy to grow and indeed very rewarding and intriguing.
