Bulbophyllum longiflorum Thou.

This species from the section Cirrhopetalum, probably has the widest distribution of the genus. It is found in Africa, Madagascar and surrounding islands, Mauritius, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, New Caledonia, Cook Islands, Australia, Papua New Guinea and Fiji plus numerous other small islands. The semi erect inflorescence produces a whorl of up to 8 beautiful blooms. It is an intermediate to warm grower.
